Caroline Pfiefer

Caroline started practicing yoga over a decade ago as a means to complement her running. She quickly began to realize there was something more to be gained from the practice than just stretching. She found yoga to be an escape from the stress of daily life and a way to return to the present. She has primarily practiced and taught faster-paced vinyasa style classes, but in the past couple years, her personal practice has shifted to a slower, restorative, and more yin-like style. You can expect to have a good mix of yang and yin energy in her classes, with a strong focus on breath awareness, as that is our most powerful tool in yoga.

Caroline received her 200-hour certification in 2016 with Sage Rountree and Lies Sapp of Carolina Yoga Company, based in Chapel Hill, NC. She is currently working towards her 500-hour certification with Josh Summers and Terry Cockburn of the Summers School of Yin Yoga. She is also a Licensed Massage Therapist.
