Meredith Wadsworth

Having practiced for over a decade, Meredith first came to yoga in high school by attending small classes with her mom. It wasn't until college that she discovered the true benefits of having a regular practice-- even just 20 minutes at home. As she began to navigate the real world and all the many identity crises that come with it, her yoga practice was what kept her grounded and true to herself. As her budding desire to teach yoga slowly grew, she began studying integrative and holistic nutrition and life coaching to go hand-in-hand with her desire to help others feel more authentic and embodied. She completed her 200hr Vinyasa certification through The Sacred Fig in 2020, followed by a 50-hr Yin TT through Arhanta Yoga in 2021. Prior to her yoga teacher training, she taught low-impact, functional fitness classes through P.volve Studio in New York City. This emphasis on proper form and alignment to support the daily functions of the body, in tandem with mindful self-awareness, has largely informed her personal practice and teaching style-- a unique blend of the grounding energy and creative fluidity of vinyasa yoga infused with functional training and mobility. Her classes will leave you feeling more present and balanced-- strong yet softened, stretched yet stable-- in body and mind.

Born and raised in Wellesley, MA, Meredith's practice has led her all over the world before returning to her home city of Boston where she currently resides in Beacon Hill. In addition to teaching yoga, Meredith is a ceramicist, writer, and life coach offering guidance and support in the practice of creative, embodied living. As a passionate multi-hyphenate, Meredith sees yoga, writing, ceramics, and coaching as ever-entangled pieces of an integrated whole-- each informing the other.  Just as she incorporates various elements of yoga into her pottery and coaching, Meredith integrates her knowledge and insights from coaching and art into her teachings on the mat to promote student's self-expression and expansion, encouraging creativity, vulnerability, curiosity, playfulness and exploration.
