Julia Marquette

In Julia’s yoga classes, she strives to foster a sense of community in which people feel seen, heard, and welcomed. She acknowledges that individuals know themselves and their bodies best. She uses welcoming and inclusive language while guiding and encouraging people to listen to their minds and bodies to explore what they need from their practice. She offers a variety of modifications to help people choose what feels best for them in the moment. Her classes are guided by breath and music. Julia grew up on Cape Cod. She has always had a love for joyful movement— training in a variety of styles of dance from the age of 3 through college and is also a barre instructor. She has lived in Boston for the past 7 years and loves spending her free time exploring the city, trying new restaurants, and spending time outdoors with her boyfriend, dog, and friends. Julia is also a registered dietitian, specializing in the treatment of eating disorders, and is a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor.
